P&D in Edmonton sometimes gets in some of the Kent 2 1/2" shells. They usually sell out very fast, which does not seem to be an indicator that the orders should be larger (minor rant).

Anyways, you could do worse than to give them a call.

The gent in southern Alberta that sells the Yildiz (spelling?) Turkish Shotguns, also stocks and sells the supplies and a couple reloading books that cover off 2 1/2" shells.

I have been gathering together the stuff to load some, as I seem unable to get the timing right to buy any of the Kent loads.

You could aslo get the camber of your shotgun cut to accept 2 3/4 shells. sometimes this is a cheaper alternative in the end as ammo is far more easier to get.
 
I made a little jig so I can easily cut the cases to uniform length. I'm loading with black, so I am not using plastic wads. Roll crimping using one of the antique crank type crimpers. Really easy.
 
yodave I can't open the chamber as the action is to short(old single mil bolt ) Faststeel thanks but I'll lock for someplace other than there. I may reload as this is only a play thing I will seldon use, a few barn pigions,magpies & crows. Thanks AJ
