Howdy all,
I’ve talked to many shotgunners about this and most say they don’t have this issue.
I have shot a bunch of Challenger target slugs with my 1301 tac and the barrel has a lot of plastic-wad caked to the bore.
Maybe it’s the load independently but nonetheless, how do I clean it ?!
It should not take hours and days to clean ANY shotgun barrel. Even in the choke tube you can see the plastic caked onto the bore wall.
I’ve used; bronze brush, stainless brush, steelwool wrapped on brush, scotchbrite wrapped on brush, acetone in hopes of dissolving the plastic, stainless wire-wound brush(seemed to work the best)……. plastic sh!t still there.
Has anyone seen this or better, know how to remove it ?
I love the gun and I keep all mine pristine so, this chews at me.
Thanks much in advance,
