looking at numbers on Isnipe...looks like the 130VLD wins(on paper)

run the 130 at 2900 and the 139 at 2800 thinking this is a fair speed guess from a 260 remington

Hello Jamie, what distances were you running....600-1000yards? And by
"winning", were you referring to bullet drop, or wind drift?

Food for thought.
Jamie, ask any F-Class shooter if they've won @ 1000yds with the 130gr VLD.

130 at 2900 19.01 MOA up from 100Meter zero to 1000Meters

139 at 2800 36 MOA up from 100Meter zero to 1000Meters

this is just running it on I snipe it also looks like the 130 win the wind game too....

like
i said its just a chat session thats all,I will test a hole lot of bullets but these too seem to be the tops

What barrel length ? 2800 for the 139 Scenar seems pretty warm for a stock 260. I'm running my .260AI loads at 2850 in a 26" tube, but that's seated to cycle through an AI mag at 2.835".

sometimes I wonder how I can push 175gr SMK out of a 308 in 20" barrel at 2659 avg with no issues . thinking a 139 gr bullet would have a hard time getting a little more

the numbers you're getting from isnipe seem a little off, jbm gives me 27.2 minutes from 100 to 1000 yards at 2900 with 6.6 minutes for 10mph of cross wind and thats with 2436 ft/lbs of energy at the muzzle for the 130 vld
running the 139 at 2800 would give you the same muzzle energy and will drop 30.4 minutes and drift 7.4 minutes from a 100 yard zero...

the 130 vld is a very under-rated bullet, running litz numbers into jbm with equivlent muzzle energy's, the 130 grainer drifts the same as a 140 grain berger vld and less then both the 139 scenar and the 142 smk...

Actually, in the 6.5x47Lapua case the 130gr VLD is a good match. I'd like to hear from .260 users and their finds with the 130. I've only used the .260 AI, 6.5x55 Swede or 6.5x284 to drive the 140's slightly above 2,900 fps.
What happens when we drive the 140 VLD's to the same velocity as the 130?

by all means share the data/info I found Isnipe to track my 308 load to a T as in Bang on out of bag dead critters

260 info would be nice but just 6.5 data would do

hell how about the lighter bullets going faster vs heavy slower? just a info share

I use 139 scenars in my 260 and your drop numbers are different than mine. It takes 28 moa for me to get to 1k yards. I push the 139's to 2900 fps.

yeah ran the numbers and yes Isnipe says 28MOAfor 1000 yards 33MOA for 1000 meters

is that your real world come up?
