The guys who make Whisper cartridges are making 14.5mm bullets now too. They're heavier than military, by a bit. But a PTRD won't know the difference!
And looking at it, with 1 pound of powder, using their smaller .50BMG cases, you would only get 30 shot. Loading up a 14.5 case I could see 1 pound disappearing in 20 shots. Talk about an expensive hobby!!!
If anyone ever finds that they're selling powder bags for artillery let me know, those might be the only affordable way to shoot big guns.
