14.5x114mm??

Hello,

I have been looking for 14.5x114mm ammo for the PTRS and PTRD. These seem to be impossible to find has anyone seen any anywhere?
Am I searching for a unicorn lol.

On the very rare occasions it's found for sale it can run up to $100 each or more. The lowest I have ever seen was $60/ea and that was many years ago.

When I hear about this cartridge it's usually for reloading. People get brass from somewhere (I think Marstar brought a pile in a couple/few years ago), use a suitable powder, and have lathe-turned custom bullets made.

bullets are the problem, most surplus is tracer, HE, Incindery, or a combination of those elements such as HEIT, so importing it is a problem.

If you could source your shell casings that would be half of the battle. Powder and projectiles are the next Hurdle to confront! Then it's the loading of this components its takes a big press and dies ( read !! Custom,, $$$) so best of luck! May be find yourself a buddy in the States that willing to share.
