140 vs 160

Ted, I used a 75gr X on deer and boar out of a .257 Wby with very good results. Penetration and tissue damage was suprisingly extensive. As noted on another thread the velocity was chronographed in the 3975fps range. Three boar and one large Whitetail buck fell to this load. The ranges were from 100-175 yards and no bullets were recovered.

Because the 270 Win is quite capable of killing big game every bit as quickly as "much more powerful cartridges." :roll:

You actually remind me of a stupid dog that used to bark every time someone walked by the fence.People got annoyed with the barking and started pelting it with snowballs to give it a reason to bark.That riled it up even more and really made it crazy.That actually proved entertaining for a short time but then got boring when we realized that after all it was only a stupid dog that didn't know any better.Well this is getting just as boring since you ,just like the dog,don't know any better,and aren't much of a challenge anymore.
