Has anyone tried using the 147 grain .308 fmj campro projectiles for there .300 Winchester mag? They are fairly light, but it seems to be the only weight campro makes. The reason i'd like to use these are for shooting paper for fun since they are fairy cheap ($100 for 500).

My understanding is Campro rifle bullets are not plated. They are conventional FMJ bullets. I have been thinking of trying them out in my .308 Win.

I have been using them for the last few months in my .308. I have to admit when you find the sweet recipe they do work awesome.

Getting groupings of .5 - 075 inch at 200 yards maintaining .5 MOA upto 500 yards depending on atmospheric conditions.

I source mine from a mbr on this site. I will have to dig up his handle.......

I use them out of my Savage 10TR and M1 garand they seem to shoot better than I can
I believe they are FMJ from looking at the base
Cheap accurate blasting ammo, picked up a few thousand when a local retailer had some for sale
