OK, i'm playing around with some rainier 148gn double ended wadcutters for 38 spl. I've loaded very little for 38 in the past, and never a full wadcutter. I've seated them flush with the case mouth over 2.9gn of bullseye. Anyone see any issues with this load?

Should be a safe and accurate load .... I've used full wadcutters with 2.9 gns of W231 ... my fav powder ... and had good results

My double ended 148s have a crimping groove about 0.10" back from the end, so the bullet can be seated stick out a bit.

For the m52, they must be seated flush. I load these with 3.6 gr 231. Snappy, but that is what shoots best in my 52.

For revolvers, I load the bullet stick out a tenth of an inch with 4.2gr of 231. Works well in all of the revolvers.

In 357 revolvers, the protruding bullet and 5 gr of 231 is very good, but don't shoot it in a 38. All loads are with 38 brass.

Thanks guys, i was pretty sure I was good going by what i could put together from the rainier website and my various manuals, but i wanted to tap the deep sea of gunnut knowledge out there and double check,,,,off i go:shotgun:
