149gr C21 7.62mm NATO Ball

I have a question, will the 149gr NATO Ball fire well in a 1-12 twist? and can anyone tell me what bullet shoots the best out of a 1-12 twist...thx in advance

My 700P (308/762) loves the portugese surplus with the 1/12 I get under 1" all day long

IVI......Not so good, around 2.5" @ 100 meters

S/A right around 1.5" @ 100 meters

that's the fault of the ivi- it's just plain poor ammo- at least it is in the 6 308's i own- they shoot MUCH better with almost everything else, but i WON'T put indian stuff through it- as far as the twist goes, 1/12 theoretically is good for up to and including 180 grain( 13.2) but with the m14 action, you don't go above 175- 165-168 if you value your rifle
