154gr. bullets, but charts only for 150 or 160: ???

Hi everyone,

Got a 7x57 caliber, want to reload a few cartriges to shoot with this old Spanish Mauser. The bullets I have weigh 154gr. But the charts I found only list for 150gr and 160gr bullets. Should I simply use the starting loads for the 160gr.?

Use the starting load for the 150 and 160 grain and with the same powder choose the midway point.

I have the Lee manual and the Speer manual... Hornady's next on my shopping list then

Powders: I have Hodgdon's Varget, H335, H322 and H4895.

From Hodgdon's manual #24 for 154-162 grain bullets - starting load of 37 grains of H335, and starting load of 37 grains of H4895, and maximum of 41 grains both these powders.

But, my Lee 2nd edition lists for 160gr jacketed, 33gr of H4895, with a max of 34.5gr. ???

I have the Hornady #7, it doesn't list any of these powders for 154gr bullets for the 7x57Mauser.
