16" barrel suggestions?

Allready got 2 ARs in 6 months, I'm looking for a third by the end of the year.

I want a 16" barrel, price range $500.

I can shoot 1" all day with a new off the rack C7A2, I want something a bit better.

Ideally, I want a bolt that matches the barrel.

Suggestions? Experiences?

No experience but I would suggest the Operator barrel from Denny at Global Tactical Supply. This is the barrel that I want in my next build, just can't afford it right now. Not sure if it comes with a bolt or not, but I'm sure if you talked to him he would headspace it off a new one for you.
 
White Oak Armament and Noveske, both make match grade 16" barrel

Douglas (campass lake), Krieger, Lilja... but probably much harder to come by

They should all be able to give you sub MOA performance given the build is done properly.
 
My best shooting barrels in 5.56mm have been lilja's, followed by Doulgas, Novekse, and Krieger.

Especially important is who chambers it-- In Novekse's John can do them himself -- but for most other I prefer CLE to do their Wylde Chamber -- it will run M855 and Mk262 in auto reliably -- and yet still has a tight enough neck to provide superb accuracy.

I have not imported a 5.56mm barrel in a while -- but my guess is that it could done reasonably by Questar or another.

I guess it is BS, since it is not an off the rack C7A2, since I took it out of the packing grease myself. You doubt that this is possible?

I would like to thank Kevin for providing me the answer I was looking for, and a bit more.
