I'm looking for some good quality loads in 16 guage in the Halifax area. Something like one once load #6 in both lead and non tox.

Just moved to the area.

I don't know how much I can help you out because I don't care much for shot guns. Try Crappy Tire, Army Navy Surplus on Agricola St (Its between the base and the bridge, I think thats the right street - but definitly the one on the hfx side cause I don't think the Dartmouth side carries ammo) and you can try JD's out in Prospect Bay. Lovett's Variety on Main Street in Dartmouth, couple of km past Foresthills parkway. That's where I've been getting my 16 ga shells for the past couple of years. Not sure if he's got the nontoxic in 16 or not.

Find a dealer that can order Kent and order a flat. You won't believe the patterns you get out of a 16ga with this stuff. Either Kent or Gamebore same Co. I think :).
