16 ga shells for trap/skeet

Anyone know where to source them in Canada? I want to try my 16 ga. guns at the local club. Of course, must use 7.5 or smaller shot.

I think Fiocchi, Nobel and Remington are the only ones I know of that still make 16 gauge target shells.
Good luck finding them though, you'd be better off buying some cheddite hulls and loading your own.

Wholesale in Winnipeg sells 1 oz. Fed Game loads in 6 and 8 shot for 130 bucks/flat. Pretty expensive shooting if one does not reload.

Canada Ammo (contributing sponsor) will order Fiocchi 7 1/2 target loads for the 16. They seem to get the ammo fast and orders over 200.00 ship free. Last I bought were under a 100.00 a flat. Not bad for very good quality cartridges.

Federal or Remington #7.5 or #8 game loads, 2 1/2 Dram are very satisfactory target loads at 1145 / 1200 fps respectively.
Prophet River had a good price on Remington this Summer at $99 a flat.

I purchased a flat of the Remingtons, for those times I take my 16gauge SxS for a round of skeet.
