16 gauge slugs... Where to find?

Hi folks.

I hear some of you say "Oh, there's plenty of 16ga ammo around if you look hard enough..." Which, apparently I'm not doing :-(

Dear old dad has dusted off his old bolt action 16 guage, given it a tune up, and decided he wants to take it as his back up for deer season this year.

"Oh I'm sure I've still got lots of slugs laying around here somewhere..."

"But dad, you haven't shot that thing since the fifties!?"

I found the box. Not only were they SUPER deteriorated, but he thought "SG" stood for "slug".


Anyway, so where are you guys finding slugs!? Since his last box of "slugs" lasted him 50+ years, I'm not too concerned about shipping cost as I'll amortize it over the next 50 ;-)

CGN search as well as several sponsor sites yielded nothing.

Post a WTB on the EE and look around at gun show's.
Old gunshop's and hardware store's

I purchased a variety at Bass Pro. They had most brands.

If you are anywhere near Barrie I get mine at Watson Sports in Elmvale. I just bought some there last week.
