The effected barrels are found. It's amazing how many people are on here.
Simon and I just had a chat and we figured/sorted out the issue. The 16" barrels that I had issues with are from his first batch over a year ago and as he posted in my last AR15 barrel thread, his first batch was nitrated as one unit. They are now done seperately.
He's replacing them for me and we're splitting shipping to get them to the effected customers. It's a good compromise for all and gets everything out there that needs to be.

Usually I'd just email the people that bought these but I still have three unaccounted for that I sold in store.
We're offering a full refund & shipping to anyone that has purchased one of the S&J Hardware Nitraded AR15 barrels that we have sold in the last few weeks. To date one indexing pin has come out and two of the barrels are showing signs of rust between the extension and the barrel.
When we removed the extension (approx 60 foot pounds of torque) to examine the rust we found bare metal and rust. As well the indexing pin wasn't even touching the threads. We don't know if this is limited to our batch (we recieved 8 barrels) but we don't want our customers having head spacing issues and kabooms if the extension backs off or other problems develop.
