Howdy all.Bought some moly coated 165 gr flat nose .309 diameter cast bullets with gas check last weekend.Any one have any good or bad stories about these bullets from Competition Bullets Inc.out of Edmonton? Not sure whether to use them in the M14S or stick with them in the bolt action FR8 or thru the 30-30 model 94.Thanks

flat nose might not feed that great in the m14, i shoot a reduce load using 200gr round nose gas checked bullets in my m14, the flat nose might create a dangerous situation,
should work good in the 30/30 and the fr8

OK Thanks. The bullets look like a jacketed soft point with out the exposed lead tip.And of course no jacket. Not a very large flat point.

this one works great in my m14/fr7 with 33-35gr imr4895, 200gr,

Try them in the M14. You might be surprised how well they feed. And experiment a little with length. In mine, rounds loaded a little short don't seem to touch the feed ramps with the bullet nose.
