165gr Nosler A/B .300 Savage recipies

You need to work up a load for your rifle. No two rifles, even two identical rifles with consecutive serial numbers, will shoot the same ammo the same way. Load for the bullet weight. Who made said bullet doesn't matter.
I'm not seeing any data for that bullet weight either. It's odd too. I have data for a 180 grain jacketed bullet, but not even Nosler gives on-line data for a 165 grain bullet and IMR4895. They do list a load using IMR4064 though. It's more consistently accurate than IMR4895 too.

I have some IMR4895 left over and I wanted to use that but I think I may pick up some IMR4064 and leave the 4895 for plinking.

The 165gr are for this years Deer load.
I used 150gr A/B last year with good results but I just wanted a change. Not like I don't have too much on the go already!!!

Thanks

not to hijack your thread, but if it was me Id be loading 150 grain in the 300 Savage. The longer 165s should invade on the already moderate case capacity of the Savage.

H4895 would be the powder Id use however.
