I agree with Todbartel. Those Varget and RL 15 loads are the standard.
Another load that's worked remarkably well in a buddy's .308s (in fact, the only load his rifles like) is 50.0 grains of IMR 4350 with a 165-grain bullet. This is a seriously compressed load, but it works, and it has relativley mild pressure. I'd never use it for match shooting but it's fine for a hunting rifle.
