I actually read on a few other forums about guys having the same problem, but they found out that they torqued there lug bolts too tight, drawing the action too close to the stock, therefore the cocking bolt was dragging on the stock when being fired, i checked mine out and the bolt was def. draggin when being fired, so i loosened them up some, now just gotta get out and try it. Hopfully i was just too stupid to notice and this is what is the problem.......

I had the same problem with my savage 17HMR, I would get at least 1 miss fire every 20 to 30 rounds but an even bigger pain was that the empty shell sometimes would not extract and I had to use a knife to get the empty shell out ... this happend at least once every 10 rounds.
