Just wondering if anyone has done any loading for this round ?

1) What if any are the advantages over say 22 250 or .204 rug in terms of accuracy and varmint drilling abilities ?

2) Is there a source in Canada for dies and brass ?

3) Any pet loads ?

Thanks

Always looking for something new to play with

I just bought dies, brass and loaded ammo yesterday, but dont have a rifle yet so I don't have any pet loads, but the new honady manual and the guys I've talked to down south seem to really like V-N120 and AA1680. I think the advantages are reduced noise, economy of loading, lack of recoil (to watch hit through scope), and fun:)

I have loaded the new 17 with 20gr vmax's with AA 1680 powder and 25gr HP with H 335 powder. 12.8gr with the 25gr was the best group and 12gr with 1680 was best in the Savage model 25. Bought my dies in LasVegas my loaded ammo from raynorshine and bullets and brass from P&D. Brass is $36 for 50 pieces. COAL was 1.71 inches. SX
