When i got my mauser they guy gave me a load of reloading gear and in that was around 800 + lead bullets of 170 gain waxed and 185 grain unwaxed 6.5....Being new to reloading I have no idea IF i should or how to use these ones...... here are some pics.... Opinions? they look strange to me and seem allot heavyer then the 140 factory and 160 military ... Anyinfo is help full, he even gave me the mold for them + 1000 gas checks with with too...

Good score. I have been looking for casting gear, or prethrown bullets for my 6.5x55 for a while.

I did manage to get my hands on some cast bullets that I have used in an 8mm VZ24. I send them out over small charges titegroup. These kinds of loads are why I got off m'duff to reload.

Looks like the cruise missile. I use Noe 163gr. There are problems with these boolits they don't like speed, their accuracy really drops of above 1500fps. Still working on a good load for mine. 7.7 gr of titegroup showing some promise, I hope to get out soon to try some rounds loaded with longshot.
It is the fast twist in the swedes makes them unstable. I been using a softer alloy too
Hope this helps
Be safe

I've got some 170 grain cruise missles I cast. W/W dropped in ice water and powder coated blue. They should be very hard.

Once I get to shooting them I'll post what results I get.
