I've gone through many of my usual on-line suppliers and have not had any luck finding 170 grain Round Nose bullets for a 30-30 Winchester. I would prefer the Nosler Partition, second choice would be the Hornady. Anyone have any leads on a supplier for the above bullets?

Have you considered P and D in Edmonton? They have a pretty extensive selection of reloading components and are a sponsor here.

Hornady #: 3060 is the product number for the 170 grain flat nose .308" bullet for the 30-30. (Just loaded my last 40 of these yesterday).

Just curious, but have you checked with any local gun shops? It seems like that these days the most common components are becoming difficult to find, while the exotic stuff is plentiful.

A few moths back, I had a hell of a time finding brass locally for .357 magnum, which seemed quite ridiculous.
Then, just getting a Lee shell holder for their hand held auto prime proved impossible locally, unless I bought a bought a package of shell holders, which I didn't need.

Okay, thanks for the replies - yes, indeed, I did find them listed, finally!!

1873 - I live in rural Manitoba - the nearest "local gun shop" that I know of is 2 1/2 hours away, so I am trying to learn to make "on-line" my friend!! :)
