1777-1977 Colt commemorative set question

I have a friend who is thinking of selling this great set of 1777 - 1977 colt commemorative cap and ball pistols set it is unfired and mint!! i was wondering what a fair market value is the pistols are .44 cal .

I'll say they are worth $300 to $500.

If they are unfired they are probably worth quite a bit more to the right collector. I'll give you 500.00 for them right now.

The Blue Book of Gun Values 26th. Edition 2005. Lists the Colt 1977 U.S. Cavalry 200th. Anniversary set at $1250.00 They listed at $995.00 New. there were 3,000 sets made. The 2000 Standard Catalog of Firearms shows the Colt 1860, Colt Reproduction 4 screw Frame New in Box. at $675.00 (this is for 1 revolver) Run Gunhunter Run.........

If the blue book values are US prices you are looking at least 50% less in Canada.
