17hmr what is the best on under $500. also i am going to be bullseye shooting as well as small game hunting do i want a bull barel or a standard barel.

I like my 93G17 BB for doing both and the price was right. Under $500 including a Bushnell Banner Super 17.

Savage 93R17-FV. It's got the heavy target barrell. Super accurate rig for the money, I'm very happy with mine. Pretty decent pricing too.
