This year the match will be June 15th-18th.
I went last year, and had a lot of fun. There's plenty of camping space.
There's silhouette matches, a woods walk trail, a gong shoot, original rifles match, and lots of opportunity to get sighted in on the steel.
It's a great event, come check it out.

I don't know if you guys have noticed, but the trail walk event got replaced by the "quigley" event this year. 500,600,700,800 all off hand so different than previous years. Of course I'm sure lots of people will still informally do the trail walk. I might bring my 32-40 for that if the weather is good. Don't want any rain on my single shots :)

See you guys there!

No I didn't pick up on that, I gave my mailer to a pal hoping to sway him into coming and to be honest didn't read it through just checked the dates for my calendar....Thanks for pointing that out Chris . As far as powder I have never loaded for my 44-40 lever gun as yet. It along with dies etc. are due to arrive this week so hopefully I can whip something up in both smokeless and black .I still have to load for the match days too. Bullets are cast ,some case prep , lube and load......Quigley will be a challenge ! I have taken a few pokes out to 650 m but nothing beyond that....Will hopefully have time to put up some numbers on Thursday....

Hopefully there will be time to get sight settings. According to Neal there won't be any sighters in that match :). I'll probably bring my 45-90 for that one. I have sight settings from last spring which will be close enough.

Less than a week till the shoot!! I'm getting some ammo loaded up , and practicing for those pesky chickens this week.

We'll see you there !!! Think I will head up Tuesday .Thought to bring my lever action but it has developed a loading issue and I don't know if I keep using it I may create more problems. Likely will bring it along just the same. Maybe some one up there m ay have some experience with such matters. For some reason the carrier drops before the breech bolt picks up the cartridge.....
