18.6 300 Blackout Barrels

What are all the options out there for people looking to build a non-res carbine in 300Blk? Any recommendations or suggestions appreciated.

Maple Ridge Armoury made a run of 18.6 300BLK barrels. Cant find it on their website, but SFRC seems to have it in stock:

What bullet weight would you run in an 18.6" .300BLK and how fast do you think you could get it going? Most of the numbers I've seen online are for SBR barrel lengths down south...

No idea. The 18.6” is simply to keep the rifle non-res. If I could run a shorter barrel I would.

I assumed as much, with regards to non-res status. Was just curious if you had an idea what kinda ballistics you'd get with about 8" more barrel than what would normally be used with a .300BLK.

I have an Odinworks .300 blk stainless steel barrel. 18.6" long, got it from Calgary Shooting Centre in 2018.

Shoots decent, but I don't have a lot of trigger time behind it so can't back that up with any actual numbers.

What I’d really like is a light profile that is nitrided. I’ve got a Faxon 18.6” Gunner in 556 and it is excellent. It would be nice to have the 300 Blk be similar.
