i have taken animals with the 180 scirrocos with my 300 wsm but never recovered a bullet. performance was very good on a moose. it broke the shoulder and was under the hide. recovered weight 162 grns diameter .875. range was about 125 yds. has anybody had similar results with other brands of bonderd bullets?

That sounds like excellent peformance it's all you can ask from a bullet. I had similar performance from my recent moose hunt, broadside through the lungs, broke a rib in and a rib on the way out, complete pass through, 300 Dakota shooting a 200gr Accubond at 3000 fps, range was 35yds, lungs had a nice 2-2.5" hole through them, I really thought the bullet was going to come apart because I had similar shots with the Hornady interlocks and Sierra's and they came apart. But in all cases the animals went down is that bullet failure
