I have used the Speer 180 grain FP in my .358 Winchester, and I think I had it up to 2700 fps (notes not at hand). It performed well on the one deer I shot with it. I hit the deer at around 200 yards, and it was a clean pass through the rib cage, bleeding it out well and with no excessive damage to the meat. I shot it a bit far back in the lungs, so it was not a drop right there hit, but the blood trail was very clear and led to the dead deer. I would confidently use this bullet again.
