1853 Sling Help

I have a repro PH 1853 and have gotten an el-cheapo sling from Track of the Wolf for it. I can't though figure out how it attaches. It has loops and a metal hook I assume attaches kinda like a 1907, but after a little tinkering I figured I'd throw this out to you guys. How does it attach?

Yup. That was it. I thought the hook on mine was installed backwards or something then I realized after it was installed correctly that I punch through the sling to put the hook into the holes. Thanks for the link.

Is that the smoothbore from Track? If so, how do you like it. I ordered one, but it's been sitting at Cda. customs since the 9th of Sept.

No, it's a Parker Hale from '79. It's a real gem. I love the thing.
