1859 sharps

i had the cavalry model of the 1859. i never could get paper cartridges working properly. kind of dicey on grassland too. i sort of started a small bonfire at our range.
ended up i would just set the bullet into the breech and pour in my powder charge behind it.
DO NOT hold your hand under the action when you shoot. :eek: there's a fair bit of flame leakage thru the bottom. at least there was in mine.
