I also enjoy restoring older machinery
I have rebuilt several lathe selling upgrading along the way.
First a 1917 Dalton lathe barn find. I did complete mechanical tear down , rebuild, and refinished
Second, 1923 southbend junior 9”x24” lathe
Third, a 1940’’s. Logan 220 model 10x30”. Came from a basement storage in parts. Cleaned, Rebuilt , and got all the feeds and gears repaired and working and rewired the rotted out wiring.
Now I have a late 1960’s clausing Colchester 13x36” 1600 pound and 1.5 in bore big enough for all my barreling projects.
I also have a 1950s Hardinge 9x20” table TM model mill
All set for my gun projects
