Well....

IT finally happened-I won an auction for a made in 1878, 1877 Colt .41 Thunderer D.A.!!!!
I am soooo happy I could just ____!!!!

Congrats dies brass I got from buffalo arms S&S firearms makes custom sizing dies for any cal .and a double cav. mold can be had from NEI.If you need any of these web sites pm me.
 
Just when i thought I had it all covered.....heeled bullet at .401 or hollow base .386/7".....hmmmmm!

Congrats on the purchase, I have two of them,,,the old one in the wrong caliber (.38) and the young one in the wrong caliber (.41), They're delicate little prima donas but just a real joy to own, best of luck with yours.

I have always wanted a 1860 also, but all the old single actions "and your double"really catch my eye and imagination.

There was a nice open top in the pistol auction a bit ago...I hope it went to a good home...I wanted it bad but at that price there was no way I could get it past the warden...ER ...I mean wife.

Good score sir!! I know these beauts dont come cheap so love her and im shure she will return the favour!!!
 
Well done Leroy, I've been shooting mine a fair bit now and love it. Mine was made in 1881 same year as the Kid was shot and the OK coral. Got a gunbelt
and holster on E-bay for $65.00 but the belt is too small anyway the girl said
they are getting some more.

Buffalo Arms has a couple of nice X-draws, and belts, unless there is someone
up here that has some nice ones.....any leads, fellas?

See Leroy i told you you would get lots of leads on brass and bullets and stuff if you Started a Thread.

I got my 41 LC bullets from Gads. they do take alongggg time to get to you tho 3 months for mine.
My Brass i got from a fellow CGNer. not sure where he got it.
the USA most likely.
With ALL the 41 LCs in Canada ya think someone would get some supplys up here to sell.
 
What size waist are you Leroy I just got a real nice gunbelt and holster from Texas but the dam belt is too small for me.It'd for a 40-44 and it fits my Thunderer like a glove and the loops hold the 41cal bullets just right. If you send mr you e-mail I'll send you a pic or two.
