Recent purchase. Tore it all down and cleaned. It's a MkIV Pattern A . Breach block has the appropriate E M crossed out. the butt stock is Mk 1 with the appropriate plug (although the one for the swivel is missing). Under the wood it was caked in a thick hard grease (as well as the breech block was full of it. Rifling looks good. 0 pitting on the underside barrel, looks pristine. I did have to stabilize a couple wood checks.

Looking forward to getting in the dies, and stuff to reload this bad boy :) the sword bayonet is insanely long.

Here is a link to a bunch of pictures.

On the wood I can make out the unit 4GR and Rack 167, and the Enfield cartouche. the one beside it I can not make out. the bottom of the barrel has 553 and this is also on the bottom of the receiver. No idea what that means. Looks like someone tried to clean up barrel and the receiver in the past. Anyone knows anything about some of the markings would always love to know more.
