Reality check - 189.99 + 225 to import = more money then buying one from P&S plus 6 months wait.

Why should they sell for 189 in Canada? In the US they sell by the hundreds of thousands, in Canada its by the tens of thousands over longer periods of time. As such our dealers cannot just dump large numbers of guns to make there profits, instead they have to try to get the most per unit.

You should have bought a yugo m24/47 when they where 199.
 
It's also more of a pain to Import to Canada. Imagine having to verify and register a few thousad K98k's before you can even get them to your wearhouse.

I wish we had American prices too, but I just dont see it happening.

Bah....still wouldnt pay $189 for a Yugo even today. I've seen a few RC's I wouldnt pay that for either. Not to say there arent ANY nice RC's, you'd just have to have a large batch to sort through and THAT we dont have in my town at least. See valleyguns.com has a decent looking Brno on right now at $299.
