So,
I've been looking for a Winchester that holds 44 caliber.
Finally found one that according to serial number was manufactured in 1913. Rifle is in very nice condition and paid 700.00 for it.
Anyone with an idea on value?

Thanks in advance.

I hope you reload as .44-40 factory ammo is both difficult to find and expensive to shoot these days. About the only group of shooters that regularly shoot this caliber are Cowboy Action shooters. As for the price, I think it is reasonable, without being able to see any pictures.

$700 is a good price for that rifle.

I have a Marlin 1894 in very good condition that I paid $600 for. I'd say you did good.
As mentioned..finding 44-40 ammo is difficult.
My small lever action collection
