I've been prepping .338 Lapua brass in the past week and noticed that about 1/3 of my 500 cases weigh around 340gr and the rest weigh 330gr. This is mostly brass from shooting factory ammo testing rifles for the CF long ago. I've sorted them into two lots and I'm going to see what the water capacity is, as well as test to see if there is a different velocity with the same load in each.
What do your old and new brass weigh?
