My husband just bought back his grandfather model 1894 .38-55
The serial numbers say it was manufactured in 1894
I need a forearm, some screws and main spring I tried western gun parts but they could help
Any other suggestions
 
try a google search for numrich gun parts. They ship to Canada and should have everything you need
 
Try personal messaging (PMing) the CGN member known as "winchester". As for the forearm, you might also want to see if there is a gunsmith out there with a stock duplicator as this would allow your hubby to choose a nice piece of walnut and have it made into a matching butt stock and forearm. The alternative is to check around various gunsmiths to see if they happen to have an appropriate butt stock and forearm set that would match what is original to the rifle, or, check various gunshows as sometimes these parts sets do come up for sale.
