1895 Winchester 30 06 Cal.

Hi guys ! What would be the approximate value of a 1895 Winchester 30 06 rifle Sporter with an uncut barrel and barrel band still in place ? It would be a good exemple for restoration.

I don't know much about these guns and I'm might be selling it.

I think you may be confused with the Russian contract for 1895 rifles in 7.62x54r. As far as I know that is just a win 95 hunting rifle.

The M95 Win was quite a piece of machinery. In .405 Win it had a pretty good reputation among African big game hunters. I once owned a M1895 Carbine in .303 Brit and used to enjoy the feel of it.

High definition pictures, clear photos of all markings, unique parts, scratches,pitting, marring, cracks etc along with info on bore condition, mechanical condition etc etc are needed to provide an accurate assessment. Otherwise it's like assessing the value of a used car from some small blurry photos - without knowing more it's worth the sum of its small parts - $200 or so. If there's more info, a lot more
