I have what I believe to be an 1896 model mauser from Ludwig Lowe and co. It does not eject a fired shell. It does extract it, but no ejection. After some digging I took apart the ejector box assembly to find a small strip of metal falling out, which take to be a broken spring. Can I replace just the spring, or do I need to replace the whole box? I see tradex has some complete assemblies, but I'm not sure if they're of corresponding quality of finish to what I have. Any help is greatly appreciated.
