1899 Savage rifle sight

I have a 1899 savage 250-3000 rifle that is missing the front sight blade and screw. The rifle has a forged base with a tapped hole to hold the blade. Can anyone tell me the size and pitch of this so I can find or make a replacement . The rifle was made about 1916.

Pretty sure they were .064" wide, and .300" to .345" tall from what I've got jotted down.

I have an accurate drawing of the blade but no information on the screw that holds it in position. I have a featherweight model H and I thought the screw would fit from it but it will not start.

Haha, yep, never got into the T/D models, they're all solid frames.

A rivet made from copper or brass wire would hold the sight blade in place and could be easily replaced when/if you get the proper screw.
