1903M3 Where To Find?

If look closely you will see that the upper handguard is a WW2 replacement.
Though the rear sight does have the proper scalloped windage adjustment knob.
It does not say what the barrel date is though.

I have to disagree with you on the amount of Springfields in Canada. I haven't had a tough time finding them over the years. I think the site the Post provides only covers a small area and there are more out there than what is showning.
I would bet there are all kinds of Springfields registered as Mausers.

After looking for what seemed a lifetime, I managed to get this Springfield 1903 a couple of years ago.
As for the comment on about there being just as many 1903s as mausers in Canada. Well, if there are, no one is parting with them.

Thanks anyway Ron. I just spent hours reading and reread milsurps and this sites instructions and its just greek to me. I'll get it eventually, but for now don't take my word for it, it's Jean P. who says it's Good-VGood.
