Happy to hear that you found one:) Now I can stop spreading "the word" ( until I can afford to add a 1905 and 1907 to my collection). Was told of a few but all had been sporterized. What shape is the bore in? Kayceel

Gentlemen -

:) :dancingbanana:

The bore seems a wee bit dark/frosted, but no pitting and the rifling is strong and sharp. Cleaning patches go through smoothly, without any noticeable "draggy" spots, so I'm very hopeful on shooting accuracy, once I get it fully cleaned up! :shotgun:

Klunk: Price was $835 before GST and shipping - at least I think so! (Jean at P&S Guns & Militaria got 3 or 4 in, and e-mailed some of us on the "Want Ross" list. Having become painfully aware of what these are going for these days, I immediately snapped up this one ... by then I just had two to choose from! The whole batch only lasted a few days and were gone off his website almost as fast as they appeared. So I can't refer back there to confirm the base price exactly, but that is what it works out to when I extrapolate back from the total amount I paid ...)
