These are decent mags .
You might want change the sping and follower for some Chip Macormick ones.
But the mag body is very good .

Why wouldn't the add stipulate whether they are 7 or 8 round capacity?

Safe bet to say They're 7rds.
I don't think Norinco make a 8rd 1911 mag.
However, you can make them 8rd ,just add a Chip Macormick 8 rd spring and follower.
I've done it to all my 7rd 1911 mags.

Norinco does make an 8 rounder which you can tell by the grip extending mag plate. These ones are 7 rounders because the lip on the mag plate which would sit inside the cutout in the grip of Nork 1911s.

Yea , I got a few of the 8rnd'rs that came with an NP27 from factory,purchased a few also...they all got the plastic chunky foot.
