1911 9mm Locking Up

@Markit Please don't be sorry, the gun was very cheap and served its purpose. I just wanted to know if I was interested in a 9 mm 1911 and whether I wanted to go with a cheap one or spend the extra money on a bit more workmanship. I have a Springfield Armory RO Elite on its way so I don't plan on using the Norc anyways. I know what the risks are when I buy a used gun from someone I don't know over the Internet and I am content to live with that risk.

@hunter5425 It has definitely been Bubba'd, his signature is all over it. I didn't include a picture of the feed ramp as there may be minors reading the forum. :)

Rather than playing gunsmith, I think I will put this up for sale on the EE for a minimal sum and move it on to someone who can use the lower/magazine/parts... etc with an accurate description of condition.

Thanks for everyone's help. I actually learned a lot. It just seems unlikely that this will be an economical repair or a reliable gun when it is fixed.

That bushing is buggered , it also looks flarded at the back end , but could be the picture, link is bad, hood and slide don't look to bad to me, typical Nork.
I think timing is off and a bad bushing.
I sold one like it that worked great, or I could have sent you some pictures.
Norinco uses a different bushing in 9mm guns,if it was 45 , common as hell.
But if it is that loose, it should not bind the barrel, but if it is also that loose in the slide It could tip enough to lock the barrel, Maybe????
Delask should have bushing, they do lots of 1911 builds.
A P.S., long shot, but while you are looking , check the bolt face and brass to make sure it is not jamming up there.
