Sorry if this has already been asked (again and again and again), but: I have a Kimber TLE II, and I recently got Wilson Combat ambi-safety that is not 'drop-in' on my pistol. What (Edit: WHERE on the stud) do I need to shave/file/'stone' to make it fit? And I do have grips with ambit cuts in them. I've also noticed the right side safety is getting nudge wide because of the hammer pin, what's the best way to deal with it? Is it a non-issuse, should I grind the pin flat, or does anybody have a cheap/free pin they're willing to sell/give to me?

Thank in advance!

Now if you're not familiar with workings of the innards on your 1911, I would strongly suggest having a gunsmith take a look at your work before shooing it. Follow the safety checks after you have reassembled your 1911.
