Hi Everyone,
I've been noticing some wear on my 1911 barrel and was wondering if this is normal wear that should be expected on most 1911s. When it was new it didn't have these marks on the barrel and I have since put about 2000-4000 rounds through the gun. I'm not sure if this is causing a problem with my gun shooting to the left as my sights are now drifted to the right in order to compensate. I have no idea what is causing this wear and if its okay to continue shooting several thousand rounds through this thing. I'm currently debating if its worth the trip to my gunsmith, since his turnaround times are very long.
Thanks in advance.
