1911 Beavertail

Can someone recommend a good drop in beavertail safety for the norinco with least amount of fitting?

I have a high grip and the duck tail left a nice blue bruise near the webbing on the back of my hand.

The Wilson drop-in requires no fitting and is decent.

Wilson and Kings made nice one's.

There's a wilson with the fitting jig on EE atm at a very fair price. Bit of work but you could resell the jig easy I bet.

I prefer to live with unsightly gaps than a bruised hand after shooting sessions. Think I'll get one.

Along the same lines, anyone found a trigger that fits the Norinco Government 1911 with minimal fitting? Mine is so rough that my finger is raw after a box of ammo. Filed it up as best as I could but it's still like pulling on a broken beer bottle.

I put an Ed Brown national match in one of mine, all it took was a couple light passes on top and bottom with a file and it fits snug.
