Lately I have been bitten by the modification bug and have been doing a lot of research and have two questions.
1) is there a 1911 gunsmithing course offered anywhere in Canada?
2) which is the best platform to start out with? for example I know the Norcs are cheap, about $350 new, but what about a SAM $399 new?
I am going to start with the small things, like adding a beaver tail, and work up to trigger jobs and what not. Eventually I would like to build something that looks like the wilson contempory classic centennial. decisions, decisions.
Any help would be appreciated.
