1911 Clinics?

With so many of those kicking around, I'd see interest. Maybe a half-day associated with an M14 or Garand Clinic?

Disassembly, assembly, common mods, shooting technique?

Andy: It's certainly worthwhile considering, but I'm a 1911 lover and shooter but tweaking them is not my area of expertise.

But I was considering an AR Clinic, but right now with my calendar filling up, I cannot even give it much thought! Well, let me bounce it off chalkriver and see what he thinks for October 2015. :)

Honestly, we have a CQB program that I'm kinda focusing on establishing for CFB Petawawa GC. It's a trial year so I gotta get it done right!

Cheers and keep helping them noobs out there!

Thanks Barney - maybe we can find a 1911 Guru with whom to collaborate.

BTW - I'm also in for an AR Clinic!

See you at the PR Clinic. ;)

The mental picture that comes to mind when I see 1911 clinic is Bubba polishing a feed ramp.

LOL

That's one thing I've yet to try. My Norc sometimes has a FTF where the (cast) bullet hangs up on the feed ramp. If it continues past the break in period I might give it a go.

Pretty pleased with how the rest of the internals cleaned up, though.

is there anyone who is associated with Larry Vickers? Doesn't he visit up here? He could probably put on a 1911 clinic, bot tweaking and shooting. I would pay for that no issue.
