I have a Para Ordnance P18-9 that I'd like to get a holster and some mag holders for. It seems like they don't fit in a standard 1911 holster due to the wider grip and I can't seem to find any Para specific holster online. Is it possible to just get a standard 1911 kydex holster and dremel out the grip area or would that prevent the holster from retaining the handgun properly.

For mag holders I see several companies make generic kydex double stack magazine holders, any other suggestions besides this?

That sounds weird to me as the grip should not be anywhere near the holstered part of the gun. In fact, you want a full unobstructed grip on the draw. Only thing that needs to be covered is the trigger guard. Unless you mean a military style full flap holster?

I think a Belt Slide design will work excellent with your gun.

I was just hoping for a level one kydex holster for service pistol and potentially IPSC down the road. I'll send an email their way.

My p18-9 fits in the regular safariland 6378 holster. Yes you need to loosen the tension screw ever so slightly.

A Blade-Tech Classic OWB would work, I'm certain of it. They make one for a 5" non-railed 1911, an STI Edge, and a 5" STI Tactical; Blade-Tech would be able to tell you which of the three would be the best fit for a P-18.
